The diagnostic interface is a comprehensive tool for configuring, calibrating and diagnosing VCA/VCA-T flow computers and connected VCT turbines. It enables users to read out device information, manage media characteristics, view real-time data and make individual settings.
Main functions
Device information and overview
- Display of firmware names, firmware versions, serial numbers and manufacturing data of the devices.
- Display of configuration settings such as update rate, cut-off value, temperature measurement and output voltage range.
- Overview of stored media characteristics and current media selection.
Media characteristic curve management
- Creation, editing and management of up to 10 individual media characteristics.
- Import and export of media characteristics as a CSV file for simple data transfer between devices.
- Graphical display of the characteristic curves with interactive editing option for precise adjustments.
Configuration settings
- Adjustment of device settings such as update rate, cut-off value and output voltage range for flow and temperature measurement.
- Perform an analogue adjustment to calibrate the output signal using a calibrated voltmeter.
- Saving and transferring the configurations to the device.
Live mode
- Real-time display of measurement data such as current flow rate (l/min); corrected media temperature, current viscosity and total current consumption.
- Direct access to information on the connected turbine, including device information, measurement properties and calibration properties.
Calibration
- Guided calibration: Step-by-step instructions for setting up and calibrating the system for less experienced users.
- Expert mode: Direct configuration of all calibration parameters in a single screen for experienced users.
- Ability to enter and customise calibration data for different viscosities.
- Creation of a viscosity-independent calibration curve by matching and adjusting the data points.
