DDM Oval Gear Meter – Long service and small space requirement
OG series oval gear meters are positive displacement meters designed to measure liquids such as water, coolant, oil, and fuel with flow rates from 0.01 to 500 liters. The liquid flow drives two oval-shaped gears, whose rotation is detected by a Hall sensor to determine the displaced volume. Their special tooth geometry minimizes pressure loss and enables accurate measurement even at low flow rates, independent of viscosity or temperature changes. The compact design allows easy installation without the need for flow straighteners.

Turbine flow meter for applications with oil
Turbine flow meters offer rapid and precise measurement. They are particularly suitable for applications where high repeatability is required. Flow-optimized impellers minimize pressure loss.
The VCT-AN and VCT-HB measuring turbines from DDM Sensors are characterized by the following values:

DDM Flow Turbines – innovative and miniaturized
The VCT series flow turbines measure flow rates from 0.05 to 350 liters per minute, with stainless steel housing and rotor designed for temperatures up to 125°C and pressures up to 25 bar. The optimized rotor geometry and hybrid ball bearing ensure excellent repeatability, while a contactless sensor detects turbine speed for TTL frequency output. An integrated data memory stores calibration data, and when paired with a VCA flow computer, the system achieves high accuracy, independent of fluid viscosity.

Ultrasonic flow meter for applications with oil
Ultrasonic flow meters offer non-contact measurement, making them virtually maintenance-free. They are suitable for all viscosities, densities, and conductivity levels.

Ultrasonic flow meters provide precise, non-contact flow measurement for liquids with flow rates from 0.002 to 20 L/min. The Atrato series features a smooth, obstruction-free flow tube, while the MetraFlow series offers an FDA-approved PFA tube for high-purity applications. The flow meters can measure oils regardless of their density and detect oils with suspended solids and impurities down to 80 microns, regardless of flow direction.

The flow meters from DDM Sensors are characterized by high measuring accuracy and repeatability. For example, the repeatability of turbine flow meters is up to ±0.025 % of the measured value. The linearity of the measured values ranges from ±1.0 % of the measured value to ±0.5 % of the measured value. The devices offer a high resolution, with the smallest measurable unit being in the milliliter range. Oval gear meters achieve a repeatability of ±0.1%.
