Functional description

The FT2 series is a versatile and powerful turbine flowmeter available in two sensor versions: Hall-effect sensor and optical sensor. These sensors detect the rotational speed of the radially driven turbine rotor, which operates on the Pelton wheel principle, and provide a precise pulse output signal. The FT2 series covers six different flow ranges from 0.05 to 160 L/min, offering a wide range of applications.

The robust body is made of PVDF and can be equipped with various process connections, including PVC, PVDF, brass, or stainless steel 316, depending on the application. The sapphire bearing installed in the turbine rotor ensures a long service life and high reliability of the flowmeter.

Typical applications for the FT2 series include laboratory tests, cooling systems, active flow alarms, semiconductor plants, as well as flow measurements in aggressive chemical environments and with ultra-pure water. The FT2 offers an excellent price-performance ratio and can be customized to specific applications thanks to its modular design.
