New designed VCT rotor blades are are running on a high-performance hybrid ball bearing. As a result the VCT turbine meters provides low pressure drop, large turn down ratio an excellent repeatability. An itegrated media exposed temperature probe take readings even on dynamic temperature changes. Turbine and temperature probe defaults are stored in a memory. Rotor speed is dedected without drag and converted to a high level TTL pulse output. Together with a smart VCA flow computer the whole system will configure itself automatically and provide analoge output for both flow rate and media temperature. Output signals are linearized and compensated for fluid viscosity changes.
