Pelton wheel flowmeters – for small flow rates, robust and space-saving

Pelton wheel flowmeters are particularly suitable for the measurement of small flow rates and low-viscosity fluids. The radial rotor (pelton wheel) is equipped with robust, smooth-running sapphire bearings and driven by a directed jet of process fluid. Due to the radial drive, a large portion of flow energy will be converted into the rotor speed. Therefore very robust bearings are fitted as any drag is negligible for the meter performance. Installation is simple and space-saving, as flow straightener are not required.
