The pressure sensor PV25L is equipped with a piezoresistive measuring element and an integrated temperature sensor. The measuring element is protected by a process membrane made of stainless steel 1.4435 and is hermetically welded to a pressure connection made of stainless steel 1.4404 without the need for seals. Media compatible with these stainless steels can be measured reliably and consistently over long periods. Extensive aging processes ensure excellent long-term stability of ≤0.1%. Linearization and compensation over the temperature range of 0°C to +50°C are managed by an integrated microprocessor. The highest accuracy is +/-0.02%, and the total error, including temperature effects, is +/-0.1%. The analog signal path allows for fast measurements with high resolution, and the response time is 0.5 ms, enabling the capture of dynamic pressure variations, such as those on valve test stands. PV25L pressure sensors can be easily mechanically adapted to meet the specific application requirements. They are used as an OEM solution in mechanical engineering and automation. The output signals of 0 to 5 volts or 0 to 10 volts are transmitted only over short distances, making any voltage drop due to cable resistance negligible. The power consumption is only 3.5 mA, which offers advantages, particularly when operating multiple measurement points on a machine or system.
