Functional description

The pressure transmitter PX25L is equipped with a piezoresistive measuring element and an integrated temperature sensor. The measuring element is protected by a process membrane made of stainless steel 1.4435 and hermetically welded to a pressure connection made of stainless steel 1.4404 without the need for seals. Media that are compatible with these stainless steels can be measured reliably and consistently over long periods. Extensive aging processes ensure excellent long-term stability of ≤0.1%. Linearization and compensation over the temperature range of 0°C to +50°C are managed by an integrated microprocessor. The highest accuracy is +/-0.02%, and the total error, including temperature effects, is +/-0.1%. The analog signal path allows for fast measurements with high resolution. The response time is 0.5 ms. The 4 to 20 mA output signal is ideal for applications requiring transmission over long distances. The 4 to 20 mA two-wire technology is particularly secure for transmission and resistant to interference. The PX-25L pressure transmitter can be used in machines and systems within a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C, such as compressors, pump and hydraulic systems, or filtration systems.
